New Works: In the Darks

Perhaps it was the political climate of bleak contrast and polarization or perhaps it was the recognition of my own inability to simply say “I am sorry” but whatever the case I have been reflecting on the vast chasm in the human heart and conversely, the light of God. Sounds depressing, I know, but my painting black is actually a positive affirmation concerning my/our need for the grace of God, So all apologies if the darkness seems too much but this is the point of departure for my latest work. So I will be reflecting on black and the actions of a God who is for us in the darkness, calling us into the light of his love beyond the boarders of politics or pride, difference or indifference.

yeah I have heard about it before but have never read it. From what I have heard it is a mystical work on the positive effect of darkness leading to some sort of growth or change. But what i have heard may be wrong so I really should check it out. Thanks for bringing it back to my attention.
