Show Me the MUNNY

A while back my friend Robbie bought me a blank MUNNY doll out of the kindness of his toy loving heart. After recieving it, I first considered leaving it blank. It was so white, clean and formed as if it were meant to stay that way - not like mere canvas - not intimidating - just simple, seemingly complete and without need. However, while attending a local vinyl customs show I got the bug. So I started painting my MUNNY the next day, as a sort of side project in between others. I painted it as I would any other canvas, starting with red as a base I applied solid layers of color over top. In the beginning it was strange painting on its curved surface, taking its head and arms off along the way to assure better coverage, putting it all back together to assess progress. But in the end I achieved the more painterly effect I had intended and it seemed to turn out fine. So without further delay, meet my first MUNNY.
